מִן־הַשְּׁלוֹשִׁ֗ים הִנּ֤וֹ נִכְבָּד֙ ה֔וּא וְאֶל־הַשְּׁלוֹשָׁ֖ה לֹא־בָ֑א וַיְשִׂימֵ֥הוּ דָוִ֖יד עַל־מִשְׁמַעְתּֽוֹ׃ (ס)
Sesungguhnya, di antara ketiga puluh orang itu dialah yang paling dihormati, tetapi ia tidak mencapai tingkat ketiga orang yang pertama. Lalu Daud mengangkat dia menjadi kepala pengawalnya.
